For Valentina Alexa, performing has always been about more than simply stepping into the spotlight. Whether she’s acting, modeling, singing, or walking a runway, her greatest goal is to make people feel something, whether that’s laughter, joy, or simply the reminder to be kind.
That outlook has already shaped her journey as a young performer and guided her through one of the biggest milestones of her career so far: attending iPOP!, where she had the opportunity to perform, learn from industry professionals, and take another exciting step toward her dreams. Outgoing, friendly, and always eager to meet new people, Valentina believes some of life’s greatest opportunities begin with a simple conversation.
Discovering Her Passion
Valentina’s love for acting began with one simple realization. While watching a movie with her family, she suddenly turned to her mother and confidently announced that she knew she could do what the actors on screen were doing. She immediately began recreating the performances she had just watched, discovering not only a love for storytelling but also a natural excitement for bringing characters to life. Modeling arrived even earlier.
From the age of four, she found herself fascinated by fashion and self-expression, quickly realizing that walking the runway made her feel confident, creative, and completely herself.
Those two passions have continued to grow side by side ever since.
Opening New Doors
When the opportunity to attend iPOP! came along, Valentina saw it as more than a competition. She saw it as a doorway.
“I wanted to open doors for my career,” she explains.
Throughout the event, she embraced every opportunity to perform while meeting casting directors, industry professionals, and fellow young performers from across the country. On the awards gala evening Valentina scooped up four awards, 1st Place: Headshot, 2nd Place: Modeling, as well as two 3rd Place awards for Acting.
Looking back, one of her favorite parts wasn’t simply being on stage. It was discovering she could completely be herself while doing what she loves most. The friendships she built throughout the week became just as meaningful as the performances themselves.
Inspired by Those Who Came Before Her
One person Valentina would love to meet is Ariana Grande. Knowing Ariana once attended iPOP! herself makes her success story feel especially inspiring.
“It motivates me to work even harder,” she says.
Valentina hopes to one day follow a similar path, building a career through dedication, preparation, and a genuine love for performing.
Making People Feel Something
Although Valentina enjoys many different genres, she isn’t focused on playing one specific type of character. Instead, she’s drawn to roles that create an emotional connection with audiences. Whether it’s a romantic story, a comedy, or even a scary movie, she hopes every performance leaves people thinking, laughing, or feeling inspired. If Hollywood called tomorrow, however, her choice would be easy. She’d happily accept a comedy.
“I love making people laugh and bringing happiness to others.”
Creativity Never Stops
Away from acting and modeling, Valentina continues expressing herself in other creative ways. She enjoys singing, drawing, dancing, and swimming, with dancing remaining one of her favorite ways to communicate emotion without saying a single word. Singing has also become a place of comfort.
“It’s something that helps me relax.”
No matter what creative outlet she chooses, each one allows her imagination to continue growing.
Inspired by Family
When asked who inspires her most, Valentina immediately thinks of her mother. She admires the determination it took for her mom to move to America at just fourteen years old, work tirelessly, and eventually graduate from college. Her mother’s journey has become a daily reminder that dreams aren’t simply achieved through talent, they’re earned through perseverance. That lesson continues to guide Valentina in everything she does.
Staying True to Herself
One message continues to shape the way Valentina approaches both life and entertainment.
“Always be yourself and never lose who you are, because the world needs more people who are kind and genuine.”
She also lives by another simple philosophy. “If you don’t have anything kind to say, don’t say anything at all.”
Those values explain why, when asked to describe herself in just one word, her answer is immediate. Humble. And if given three words? Kind. Smart. Loving.
Looking Ahead
Over the next year, Valentina hopes to achieve one important milestone. Booking her first role on a television series. She knows every opportunity begins with preparation, which is why she continues working hard to strengthen both her acting and modeling skills while remaining ready for whatever comes next. Her advice to other young performers reflects the same mindset.
“Being afraid is part of the journey. Don’t let fear stop you from chasing your dreams. Believe in yourself, work hard, and never give up.”
Above all else, Valentina hopes people remember her as someone who is loving, caring, hardworking, and proof that with dedication and perseverance, dreams really can become reality.
