At just 11 years old, Penny Moore is already proving that confidence, preparation, and a genuine love of performing can take you a long way. Whether she’s singing on stage, acting in front of an audience, playing the violin, or walking into a new opportunity with a smile, Penny embraces every challenge with enthusiasm and determination.
After attending iPOP!, with NYLA Talent, Penny is leaving with exciting accomplishments, unforgettable memories, and an even greater passion for building a career in the entertainment industry.
Away from performing, Penny enjoys spending time at the beach, playing volleyball, swimming, horseback riding, baking sweet treats, and taking her Cavalier King Charles Spaniel, Muffin, for walks. She also loves music and believes every new experience helps her grow both as a performer and as a person.
Inspired by Disney
Like many young performers, Penny’s dream began while watching one of her favorite television shows. She remembers seeing Sabrina Carpenter in Girl Meets World and thinking, “I want to do that too.”
Already passionate about singing, Penny was inspired by seeing someone close to her own age performing professionally. From that moment forward, acting, singing, and performing became goals she wanted to pursue herself.
Taking the Stage at iPOP!
Attending iPOP! felt like a natural next step. After training with the coaches at NYLA Talent, Penny couldn’t wait to showcase everything she had been working on while learning from industry professionals.
“I was excited to perform and meet people I never would have met otherwise,” she says.
Throughout the week, Penny embraced every opportunity, gaining valuable experience while building friendships with performers who shared her passion for entertainment. Her hard work paid off. During the final awards gala, Penny earned multiple medals, including one of her proudest accomplishments, Top TV Beauty.
A Performer Who Loves the Stage
Penny dreams of becoming a series regular on a television show, where she can grow alongside a character over multiple seasons. If Hollywood called tomorrow, she’d happily accept a starring role in either a feature film or television series. She also greatly admires Millie Bobby Brown, whose performance in Stranger Things inspired her through its confidence and emotional depth.
“I think she’s amazing,” Penny says.
Beyond Acting
Although acting remains her biggest dream, Penny’s talents extend well beyond the stage.
She plays the violin; a skill she has worked hard to develop and proudly calls her favorite hobby outside of performing. She also enjoys volleyball, swimming, horseback riding, and even has a hidden talent.
“I’m a really good whistler,” she laughs.
When she’s not rehearsing, Penny loves baking desserts, spending time with friends, and relaxing with her dog Muffin.
A Year of Big Accomplishments
One of Penny’s proudest achievements came this past year when she stepped into the starring role of Willy Wonka in Wonka Jr. The production required months of rehearsal, dedication, and preparation.
“It took a lot of hard work,” she says.
That same commitment carried over into preparing for iPOP!, where her performances and professionalism were recognized during the awards ceremony. Those experiences have only strengthened her confidence and confirmed that she wants to continue pursuing acting professionally.

Inspired by Family
When asked who inspires her most, Penny’s answer is immediate. “My mom.”
She credits her mother with encouraging her to work hard, stay positive, and continue believing in herself as she pursues her dreams. Whenever she faces a challenge, Penny repeats one simple phrase. “I’ve got this!” It’s a mindset that has helped carry her through auditions, performances, and every new opportunity.
Looking Ahead
Over the next year, Penny hopes to sign with an agent and begin booking professional acting opportunities. She understands that success comes through preparation, persistence, and believing in yourself even when the journey feels uncertain. Her advice to other young performers is simple.
“You can do it! It will all go how it’s meant to be.”
When describing herself, Penny chose one word that perfectly captures her personality. Vibrant. It’s reflected in everything she does, rom her love of performing and music to her kindness, optimism, and willingness to embrace new experiences. She hopes people remember someone who is passionate about her craft, confident in her dreams, and willing to work hard to make them happen.
For Penny Moore, iPOP! wasn’t simply another performance opportunity. It was another exciting step toward a future she has been dreaming about since she first watched Girl Meets World, and with her vibrant personality, dedication, and unmistakable enthusiasm, she’s ready to see where that journey takes her next.
