Growing up in the small town of New Castle, Pennsylvania, just outside of Pittsburgh, Delaney Emerich has always enjoyed performing, meeting new people, and embracing new adventures. Alongside her twin sister, Jordie, she has spent years developing her confidence through modeling, competitive cheerleading, and acting. Now, after attending iPOP!, with NYLA Talent, Delaney is discovering that the opportunities she’s dreamed about are becoming very real.
Known for her warm personality and genuine kindness, Delaney believes one of the best parts of performing isn’t simply being on stage, it’s the friendships that come with it.
“I’ve met so many great people,” she says. “Making new friends has been one of my favorite parts of iPOP!”
Discovering a Passion
Delaney’s journey into entertainment began at an early age through professional photoshoots with local photographer Kate Smith, where she modeled alongside other local Rebel Athletics ambassadors. Every session helped build her confidence in front of the camera, but it wasn’t until she stepped onto a professional runway that everything changed.
In February 2026, Delaney walked during New York Fashion Week, modeling collections for Helen Couture, Rhinestone Sugar Couture, and Tashii Couture. Experiencing the excitement backstage, wearing designer creations, and walking the runway in front of an audience confirmed something she had been feeling for a long time. Modeling wasn’t just something she enjoyed. It was something she wanted to pursue. That experience strengthened her love for fashion while inspiring her to continue exploring opportunities in both modeling and acting.
Saying Yes to iPOP!
Like many first-time attendees, Delaney didn’t know much about iPOP! in the beginning. Originally, she and Jordie auditioned through NYLA Talent simply hoping to find representation.
Everything changed once they learned they had been selected to attend. After watching videos from previous events and learning more about the opportunities available, Delaney couldn’t wait to experience it herself. Now that she’s here, she says the friendships have become one of the biggest highlights. While callbacks and performances have been exciting, it’s the supportive atmosphere and the people she’s met that have made the week unforgettable.
Building Confidence
Delaney dreams of building a career in both television and film. If Hollywood called tomorrow, she’d happily join the cast of a television series, but she also has another favorite genre.
Scary movies.
“I’d love to be in a scary movie!”
One celebrity she’d especially love to meet is Sabrina Carpenter. I think she seems really nice. Delaney also admires Mary-Kate and Ashley Olsen, fascinated by how the famous twins built successful careers after starting in entertainment at such a young age.

Life Beyond the Camera
Away from acting and modeling, Delaney leads an active lifestyle. She is a competitive All-Star cheerleader, performing as both a flyer and tumbler on two different teams while also playing softball. The discipline she has developed through athletics carries naturally into performing, teaching teamwork, perseverance, and confidence under pressure.
When she’s not training or auditioning, Delaney enjoys spending time with friends, playing outside, swimming, and relaxing with her family’s two dogs, Odin and Jack. She has also dedicated countless hours to acting classes while balancing her busy athletic schedule.
A Week to Remember
One of Delaney’s proudest moments at iPOP! came during the awards presentations.
She earned First Place in the Headshot Competition, an accomplishment that reflects the professionalism and confidence she has developed in front of the camera. She was also selected to participate in the Kiki Wang Runway Showcase, giving her another opportunity to perform before industry professionals while showcasing her poise on the runway. Her success didn’t stop there.
Throughout her young career, Delaney has already appeared in KidFash Magazine, My Little Matilda Magazine, Wild Child Magazine, and Figgi Magazine, steadily building an impressive modeling portfolio.
Adding to an already unforgettable week, she also received an incredible 24 callbacks from agents and managers during iPOP!, providing exciting momentum as she begins the next stage of her entertainment journey.
Inspired by Family
When asked who inspires her most, Delaney doesn’t hesitate. My mom. She admires her mother’s kindness, work ethic, and the way she encourages both girls to always do their best while treating others with respect. Whenever nerves begin to creep in before a performance, Delaney reminds herself of one simple message.
Be brave. Just do your best and be yourself.
It’s advice that has helped her step onto runways, into auditions, and now onto one of the biggest stages of her young career.
Looking Ahead
Over the next year, Delaney hopes to achieve one major goal. Booking a role in a film or television project. She knows the journey won’t always be easy, but she’s committed to continuing her acting classes, improving her skills, and embracing every opportunity that comes her way. Her advice to other young performers reflects the same positive outlook she brings to her own career.
“Never take yourself too seriously. Be confident, stay kind, and always be yourself.”
When asked how she would like people to remember her, Delaney’s answer says everything about the person she hopes to become. She wants to be known as someone who brings joy wherever she goes, a supportive friend who encourages others to chase their own dreams while leading with kindness.
For Delaney Emerich, success isn’t just about booking the next role. It’s about enjoying the journey, making meaningful connections, and proving that confidence and kindness can always share the spotlight.
