The Institute of Chartered Accountants of India (ICAI) has just released the schedule for the CA Final exams for the November 2024 session, and it’s time for students to start gearing up for the big test. The final examinations will run from November 1 to November 11, 2024, and here’s a quick rundown of what to expect.
ICAI CA Exam Dates and Groups
The CA Final exams will be divided into two groups. Group I is set to take place on November 1, 3, and 5, while Group II will be held on November 7, 9, and 11. For those preparing for the International Taxation – Assessment Test (INTT – AT) and the Insurance and Risk Management (IRM) Technical Examination, the dates are as follows: INTT – AT will occur on November 9 and 11, and the IRM Technical Examination will be conducted from November 5 through 11.
ICAI CA Exam Duration
Students should note that Paper 6 of the Final Examination and all papers of the INTT – AT will be four hours long. All other exams will have a three-hour duration. This timing is crucial for planning and preparation, so make sure to factor this into your study schedule.
CA Application and Fees
The online application process for the CA Final exams will commence on August 7, 2024. The deadline for submitting applications without a late fee is August 20, 2024. Applications can be submitted with a late fee from August 23, 2024. Additionally, if you need to make any changes to your exam city or medium, the correction window will be open from August 24 to August 26, 2024.
For those appearing in Indian centres, the examination fee is Rs 1,800 for a single group and Rs 3,300 for both groups. Students taking the exams from overseas centres will incur a fee of US$ 325 for a single group and US$ 550 for both groups. For centres in Bhutan and Kathmandu, the fees are Rs 2,200 for a single group and Rs 4,000 for both groups.
The fees for the INTT – AT and IRM Technical Examination are set at Rs 2,000 each. The November 2024 exams will also be available in eight overseas locations including Abu Dhabi, Bahrain, Thimphu (Bhutan), Doha, Dubai, Kathmandu (Nepal), Kuwait, and Muscat.

ICAI has confirmed that the exam schedule will remain unchanged even if any central, state, or local authority declares a public holiday during the exam period.
