ICAI CA Exams 2026 Admit Cards Released, Exams Begin May 5

The Institute of Chartered Accountants of India has officially released the admit cards for the CA Intermediate and Final exams scheduled for May 2026, giving lakhs of aspirants the green signal to begin their final phase of preparation.

Candidates can now download their hall tickets from the ICAI e-services portal using their login credentials. The admit card is mandatory; without a printed copy, entry to the exam centre will not be allowed. So this is one step students shouldn’t delay.

This year also brings an important update to the exam schedule. The Intermediate exam dates were revised earlier, shifting Group 1 papers to May 5, 7, and 9, while Group 2 will now be held on May 11, 13, and 15. The Final exams will follow a similar timeline structure. However, one thing remains unchanged. All exams will take place in the afternoon slot from 2 pm to 5 pm.

Downloading the admit card is a simple process. Students need to log in to the ICAI portal, access the relevant exam link, verify their details, and download the document. It’s a good idea to double-check personal information and exam centre details to avoid last-minute issues.

Alongside this release, ICAI has also introduced a major structural change. Starting from May 2026, CA Final exams will now be conducted twice a year instead of three times. The January attempt has been removed, and exams will now be held only in May and November. This decision reflects feedback from students and stakeholders, and it could reshape how candidates plan their preparation cycles going forward.

For now, the focus shifts to revision, practice, and staying consistent. With admit cards out and dates confirmed, the countdown has officially begun.
