Virat Kohli could probably be the brand ambassador of iQoo

Last month only iQoo announced that it is going to make an entry in the Indian market as a separate brand from Vivo. The company has already started preparing for its launch in India. On Sunday, iQoo posted a new teaser that says that it will soon be launching a 5G ready phone. Besides, rumors are making rounds that Indian Cricketer Virat Kohli is going to be the brand ambassador for iQoo.

On Monday, Cricket website Cricinfo also tweeted a post that features an image of Kohli using a phone and they captioned it: “If you were on the phone with Virat Kohli, what would you tell him?” The tweet is a pun on Kohli’s nickname, Cheeku.

The company had claimed that it will be the first one in India to launch a phone with Snapdragon 865 processor, Qualcomm’s latest flagship chipset. The processor brings 5G capabilities, though iQoo also plans to launch a 4G variant of the phone as well. 5G is not available in India right now.
