Mery Diamondz is Best known as a Singer/Songwriter and Dancer hailing from Yerevan, Armenia. After moving to America at the age of 3, Mery found her passion for singing and performing. She started off with renowned vocal coach, Lis Lewis, who honed the skills of superstars such as Rihanna, Brittany Spears, Gwen Stefani and so many more. It was through Lis that Mery was introduced to multi platinum music producer Andrew Lane. Lane, who has worked with Miley Cyrus/ remixes for Drake and Tupac /Keith Sweat/BeckyG /TLC/Backstreet Boys, Irene Cara, and more, worked his magic, taking Mery to another level in her career. Together they are creating an EP to be released soon. She has released 5 singles including It’s a Girl, Rockstar, Dark Winter, Black and Red, and Jus Dance are now streaming everywhere.

I’ve always wanted to be an artist ever since I can remember. My mother’s aunt was a well known artist from Armenia and her musical prowess really inspired me. She motivated and encouraged me to pursue a career in music. So, I did my research to find a solid team and I began embarking on my musical journey.

I’ve always been a firm believer in having the right team and doing research. Lis really helped open my eyes, taught me new techniques and gave me insight which has helped to propel me forward.

The music writing process was done with my producer who has been of immense help. He has taught me to become a business woman and has helped me find my direction in music. The writing process involves brainstorming ideas that end up on paper, and then matching the lyrics to the desired melody.
YOUR LATEST SINGLE, “JUS DANCE,” CARRIES A MESSAGE OF RESILIENCE AND NOT LETTING NEGATIVITY HOLD YOU BACK. COULD YOU SHARE THE INSPIRATION BEHIND THIS SONG AND HOW YOUR PERSONAL EXPERIENCES INFLUENCED ITS CREATION?
Everything I write is inspired by my personal experiences. JUS DANCE is about letting loose and ignoring all the naysayers in your life. Negativity is poison so lose it by dancing it off.
IN YOUR JOURNEY AS AN ARTIST, WHAT HAS BEEN THE MOST MEMORABLE OR REWARDING MOMENT SO FAR?
So far the most remarkable moment has been my experience at the East West studio where live instruments were incorporated into my song. This made me very emotional because I’m very fond of all the instruments used, especially the saxophone.
WHAT’S SOMETHING WE SHOULD KNOW ABOUT YOU THAT MIGHT SURPRISE US?
Due to financial difficulties I made a haste decision and became a pharmacy technician. But I soon realized that my interests lie elsewhere- namely, in music.

I want to fully engage with my fans. They mean the world to me, I want to bring them along with me as I create music from start to finish.

Europe is among my favorite destinations because of my love for passion.
