Maharashtra HSC, SSC Supplementary Exams 2026 to Begin From June 16, Says MSBSHSE

The Maharashtra State Board of Secondary and Higher Secondary Education has released the timetable for the 2026 supplementary exams for Class 10 (SSC) and Class 12 (HSC) students. The exams will start on June 16 and will be held across Maharashtra in nine divisional boards: Pune, Mumbai, Nagpur, Nashik, Kolhapur, Latur, Amravati, Konkan, and Chhatrapati Sambhajinagar.

Supplementary exams are held each year for students who did not pass one or more subjects in the regular board exams. These exams give students another chance to improve their results and move forward in their studies without losing a year.

According to the official announcement, the HSC written exams for Class 12 will be held from June 16 to July 8, 2026. The SSC Class 10 written exams are scheduled for June 16 to June 30, 2026. Practical, oral, internal assessment, and vocational exams for both classes will also take place during this time.

The board has told students to use only the official timetable on its website and not to trust schedules from social media or unofficial sources. Officials said that the printed schedules given to schools, junior colleges, and other institutions before the exams will be final. The board also said it will not be responsible for any confusion caused by fake or unauthorized timetables online.

State Board Chairman Dr. Trigun Kulkarni said the board aims to announce the supplementary exam results by July 15. This will help successful students finish their admission process for higher studies on time.

This announcement follows the recent release of the 2026 board exam results. In the SSC exams, over 15.4 lakh students appeared and more than 14.2 lakh passed, making the pass rate 92.09 percent. For the HSC exams, about 14.3 lakh students took the test and over 12.8 lakh passed, with a success rate of 89.79 percent.

Students preparing for the supplementary exams should start revising now, as the exams are scheduled for next month.
