Fans of Camp Rock had a special surprise on Sunday night when Demi Lovato joined Joe Jonas on stage for a heartfelt reunion performance. The moment happened during the Jonas Brothers’ first show of their 20th anniversary tour, JONAS20, at MetLife Stadium in East Rutherford, New Jersey.

The concert was already filled with excitement as brothers Kevin, Joe, and Nick Jonas performed their biggest hits and shared memories from their two decades in the music industry. While reminiscing about their time on the 2008 Disney Channel movie Camp Rock, Joe Jonas introduced Demi Lovato to the stage, prompting the crowd to erupt in loud cheers.

Lovato, who played Mitchie Torres in the film, shared the screen and a brief real-life romance with Joe Jonas’s character. The two reunited musically to sing fan-favorite songs from the Camp Rock franchise, including This Is Me and Wouldn’t Change a Thing. Videos of the performance quickly spread on social media, with fans calling it a “dream come true” and a “full-circle Disney moment.”

After the show, both Lovato and Jonas posted clips online. One video showed them lip-syncing a viral line from fellow Disney star Debby Ryan, in which she talks about meeting the president of Disney and wanting to “make history.” Lovato captioned the post, “For the history books @joejonas,” capturing the excitement of the reunion.

Lovato, now married to musician Jordan “Jutes” Lutes, has continued to enjoy a successful music career, while Jonas went through a public divorce from actress Sophie Turner in 2024.

For fans who grew up watching Camp Rock, the performance wasn’t just about music; it was a nostalgic trip back to the early days of Disney Channel stardom.
