For some children, performing is simply a hobby. For Aracellie Maisonet, it’s something much bigger, a dream fueled by creativity, determination, and a desire to make a positive difference in the world. Already developing her skills with NYLA Talent in acting, singing, and modeling, the young performer is preparing for one of the biggest milestones of her journey as she heads to iPOP!, where she’ll have the opportunity to showcase her talents while learning from some of the entertainment industry’s leading professionals.
Despite her young age, Aracellie already approaches her goals with remarkable confidence. That positive outlook is something that carries into every aspect of her life, whether she’s performing, creating arts and crafts, reading stories, or simply making the people around her laugh.
Finding Inspiration Through Music and Performance
Like many young performers, Aracellie’s love for entertainment began by watching others perform. Listening to music, watching concerts, and seeing artists connect with audiences inspired her to imagine a future of her own in the spotlight. But beyond fame, her dream has always been connected to something bigger. She hopes that one day her success will allow her to help others and give back to those who need it most. That sense of purpose is already shaping the young performer she hopes to become.
Building a Strong Foundation
In preparation for iPOP!, Aracellie has been developing a wide range of performance skills through NYLA Talent. Her training includes improvisation, acting preparation, monologue work, self-taping techniques, modeling, and dance boot camps, giving her experience across several areas of the entertainment industry.
Outside of formal training, she has spent years singing, dancing, participating in improv, and performing in community theatre and school choir productions. She also enjoys gymnastics and tumbling, helping her develop coordination, confidence, and stage presence. Her teachers have also recognized her achievements in the classroom, where she has earned leadership, mathematics, and reading awards while maintaining excellent academic performance.
Ready for the iPOP! Experience
When the opportunity to attend iPOP! came along, Aracellie immediately recognized it as an important step toward her future. She hopes the event will help her continue growing as both an actress and singer while giving her the chance to perform in front of industry professionals.
More than anything, she’s excited to meet other talented young performers from around the world. “I’m most excited about seeing other singers, making new friends, and showing my skills.” she explains.
Dreaming Big
When asked about her dream career, Aracellie doesn’t hesitate. She would love to become both an actress and a model. “I think models are super pretty, and I am pretty,” she says with youthful confidence. “I want to be an actress because I like to be funny.”
If Hollywood called tomorrow, she already knows exactly what project she’d choose. A role in a Stranger Things movie would certainly be exciting, but creating a princess movie about herself might be even better.
Those dreams are inspired in part by one of her favorite artists, Ariana Grande. Aracellie admires both her music and her performances and hopes she’ll one day have the opportunity to meet her idol in person.
Creativity Beyond the Stage
Although performing is one of her greatest passions, Aracellie also enjoys expressing herself in other creative ways. She loves arts and crafts, storytelling, spending time with friends on Roblox, listening to music, and, like many children her age, enjoying snacks and the occasional afternoon nap. Her playful personality is balanced by a genuine kindness that shines through in the goals she’s set for herself.
One of her biggest ambitions isn’t simply becoming successful, it’s using that success to help both her family and people experiencing homelessness. It’s a goal that reflects a maturity well beyond her years.
A Positive Mindset
When asked what message she would give herself, Aracellie’s answer perfectly captures the confidence she’s working to build. “You’re great, strong, nice, and kind. You can do anything life gives you.”
That same encouragement is what she hopes to share with other young dreamers. Her advice is simple: Believe in your dreams. Never give up. And always keep moving forward.
Looking Ahead
As she prepares for her first iPOP! experience, Aracellie knows this is only the beginning of a much larger journey. Whether she’s performing on stage, stepping in front of a camera, or one day walking onto a Hollywood film set, she hopes people will remember one thing about her.
“That I am capable of anything, I always go after my dreams, and I NEVER quit.”
