At just 14 years old, Virginia Jada Jones is already making her mark in the entertainment industry. Hailing from Newark, New Jersey, Virginia is an up-and-coming actor, model, and dancer with experience in commercials, short films, and runway modeling.
After gaining professional training and industry exposure at iPOP LA in January 2026, she went on to appear in the short film Welcome to Kids Town and work with fashion designer Kee Kee Wong, expanding her creative range both on screen and on the runway.

My name is Virginia Jada Jones, and I am a 14-year-old up-and-coming actor, model, and dancer from Newark, New Jersey. I have experience working in commercials, short films, and runway modeling. I recently attended iPOP LA in January 2026, where I gained industry exposure and professional training. I also appeared in the 2026 short film Welcome to Kids Town and had the opportunity to work with fashion designer Kee Kee Wong. With special skills like cheer, tumbling, and bowling, I always bring energy and versatility to every project.
WHAT INSPIRED YOU TO START PURSUING A CAREER IN THE ENTERTAINMENT INDUSTRY AT SUCH A YOUNG AGE?
I was inspired by my mom and dad. They always watched me and encouraged me, telling me I could be whatever I wanted to be. Their support and belief in me really pushed me to follow my passion for acting.
YOU RECENTLY ATTENDED IPOP LA IN JANUARY 2026. CAN YOU TELL US ABOUT THAT EXPERIENCE AND WHAT YOU LEARNED FROM IT?
Attending iPOP LA was an amazing experience. I gained industry exposure, learned from professionals, and received training that helped me improve my confidence, performance skills, and understanding of the entertainment business.
HOW DID IT FEEL TO APPEAR IN THE SHORT FILM WELCOME TO KIDSTOWN, AND WHAT WAS YOUR FAVORITE PART ABOUT WORKING ON THAT PROJECT?
Being chosen for a role in Welcome to Kids Town was incredible. The experience was amazing, especially working with my director Isabella Urdaneta. She was absolutely great, and I’m very thankful for the opportunity she gave me to be part of her film.
YOU’VE ALSO WORKED IN COMMERCIALS AND WITH FASHION DESIGNER KEE KEE WONG. HOW HAVE THOSE EXPERIENCES HELPED YOU GROW CREATIVELY?
Working with Kee Kee Wong was a very different experience that took me out of my comfort zone. It was also my first runway experience as a model, which helped me gain confidence and explore another side of performing.
WITH SPECIAL SKILLS LIKE CHEER, TUMBLING, AND BOWLING, HOW DO THESE TALENTS INFLUENCE YOUR PERFORMANCES ON SCREEN AND ON SET?
My cheering and tumbling skills can help me in roles for cheer movies or series. Bowling and skating are also great skills that can fit into family shows, films, and different types of movie roles. These talents help me be more versatile as a performer.
WHAT CHALLENGES HAVE YOU FACED SO FAR IN YOUR JOURNEY, AND HOW HAVE YOU STAYED MOTIVATED THROUGH THEM?
Even though the industry can be challenging and competitive, I stay motivated by remembering why I started and by believing in myself. My family’s support and my love for acting keep me focused and driven.
WHO ARE SOME OF YOUR BIGGEST INSPIRATIONS IN ACTING OR ENTERTAINMENT, AND WHY?
One of my biggest inspirations is Marsai Martin because she became the youngest executive producer in Hollywood at just 14, which gives me so much hope as a young actress myself. I’m also inspired by Dakota Fanning because she starred in one of my favorite movies and is an outstanding actress.
LOOKING AHEAD, WHAT ARE YOUR BIGGEST GOALS AND DREAMS FOR YOUR CAREER OVER THE NEXT FEW YEARS?
I want to become a Disney star, do several commercials, and receive roles in a variety of movies. I hope to continue growing as an actress, model, and performer while building a strong and inspiring career in entertainment.
