About the Film Cover…
How do you choose a cover, and what should the cover mean?
Should it mean something, or is it simply the first thing an audience sees before deciding whether to look closer?
You see, for my first short film documentary Red Carpet Spotlight: Inside The World Of Fashion, I created my own film cover. Yes, of course I had many choices to choose from, and yes, it could have been easier, but I decided to get creative, and I created something entirely personal and special to me.
The result is a cover built around community. Look closely and you will find a village: the media, press, mentors and role models; people who worked tirelessly behind the scenes, spotted potential in a crowded space, and chose to open doors rather than close them. Look even closer, and you will see a vibrant collection of artists and creatives from every corner of the world, united by the belief that fashion and culture speak one shared language.
Red Carpet Spotlight: Inside the World of Fashion has earned a nomination for an Academy Award for Outstanding Director and already reached an audience of over 100,000+ across various social media platforms in its first month of release, a recognition that, much like the cover itself, is a tribute to every person in this community.
