“Everything changed after that,” she says. “I was forced to consider whether I was doing it for myself or for other people’s approval.”

The album’s structure reflects a discipline that prioritizes emotion over production, allowing each element to take shape organically. “I let the emotion write the words that write the poem,” she explains. “Once it’s done, then I find the music that belongs to it, not the other way around.”

“I don’t try to be relatable,” she says. “I try to be honest. And honesty is what connects.”
Looking ahead, Rai Renea is focused on bringing the album to life beyond streaming platforms. Plans for “The Louder Than Apologies Tour” are already underway, alongside a larger stage production designed to immerse audiences in the full scope of her vision. There is also a clear ambition to see the project recognized on a larger scale, including consideration for a Grammy.
