The Nagaland Board of School Education (NBSE) has officially released the 2026 board exam date sheet for Class 10 (HSLC), Class 12 (HSSLC), and Class 11 promotion exams. Students preparing for the board exams can now check the schedule and start planning their study routine.
The date sheets are available in the “News and Updates” section on the NBSE website, nbsenl.edu.in.
Exam Dates and Timings
The 2026 NBSE exams will begin in February and continue into early March.
Here is the complete overview:
- Class 12 (HSSLC) exams start on February 12, 2026, and end on March 9, 2026.
- Class 10 (HSLC) exams begin on February 13, 2026, and conclude on February 26, 2026.
- Class 11 promotional exams will also be held between February 12 and March 9, 2026.
NBSE has announced that:
- Class 10 and 12 exams will be held from 9 AM to 12 PM (single morning shift).
- Class 11 exams will take place from 1 PM to 4 PM.
All exams will be conducted offline in pen-and-paper mode at designated centers across Nagaland.

NBSE will release separate guidelines for Class 12 practical exams soon. The board has advised students to review the date sheet and prepare a study plan to manage revision for multiple subjects.
With the official schedule released, lakhs of students across Nagaland can now begin their final preparations for the 2026 board examinations.
