LVMH Appoints Amandine Ohayon to Lead Givenchy Forward

Luxury fashion group LVMH has announced a leadership change at one of its most iconic fashion houses. Amandine Ohayon has been appointed the new Chief Executive Officer of Givenchy, marking a new chapter for the historic French brand. Her appointment takes effect this Friday, January 9, 2026.

Ohayon assumes the role after Alessandro Valenti, who played a key role in guiding Givenchy through a period of transition. In her new position, she will report directly to Pietro Beccari, Chairman and Chief Executive Officer of the LVMH Fashion Group, who also leads Louis Vuitton.

The appointment reflects LVMH’s confidence in Ohayon’s leadership and experience. Known for her collaborative approach and deep understanding of retail and brand-building, she brings a strong mix of creativity and commercial acumen. Beccari believes her ability to work closely with creative talent, along with her inclusive leadership, will help accelerate Givenchy’s next phase of growth while staying true to its couture heritage.

Before joining Givenchy, Ohayon was Chief Executive Officer at Stella McCartney, where she gained recognition for strengthening the brand’s global presence and modern appeal. Her experience is expected to align well with Givenchy’s current creative direction, particularly following the appointment of Sarah Burton as the house’s creative director.

Meanwhile, Alessandro Valenti will transition into a new role within the group. He has been appointed Deputy Managing Director responsible for commercial activities at Christian Dior Couture, effective January 12, 2026. In this position, he will report to Pierre Emmanuel Angeloglou and will join the brand’s executive committee.

Valenti’s move has been warmly acknowledged by Sidney Toledano, who highlighted his determination and efficiency during Givenchy’s restructuring phase. According to Toledano, the groundwork laid under Valenti has positioned the brand well for future growth, making this an ideal moment for new leadership to take the reins.

This leadership reshuffle comes amid broader changes across the LVMH fashion portfolio, which includes Celine, Loewe, Fendi, Kenzo, Pucci, Patou, and Marc Jacobs. The group has been refining its leadership and creative strategies as it looks toward long-term growth.

With Amandine Ohayon at the helm, Givenchy looks ahead with renewed focus and ambition. Her appointment signals continuity, confidence, and a clear intent to strengthen the house’s identity while embracing new opportunities in an evolving global fashion landscape.
