The former chief executive of Giambattista Valli Charlotte Werner, has taken on a new role as partner at the executive search firm Jouve & Associés. Her appointment marks an influential addition to the Paris-based consultancy, which has been advising companies on leadership recruitment, assessment and talent development since 1986.
Werner is well known in the luxury and consumer industries. She led Giambattista Valli for three years, starting in 2020, right in the middle of the COVID-19 pandemic. During her tenure, she guided the fashion house through a period of uncertainty, expanded its product and geographic reach, strengthened its online presence, and helped place the brand on a stronger growth path. In September 2023 she stepped down, seeking a new challenge, and has since spent two years advising CW Talent Solutions.
Her career before Valli includes senior leadership roles at Louis Vuitton, where she managed women’s goods collections and worked on strategic initiatives. Earlier, she spent nearly a decade at McKinsey & Company as an associate principal, supporting clients in the luxury, consumer, and healthcare sectors. These experiences provided her with a strong foundation in strategy, operations, and organisational growth.
Werner studied at ESSEC Business School and later at HEC Paris, building a foundation that has supported her leadership journey across consulting, fashion, and now executive search. Her move to Jouve & Associés reflects her continued focus on helping businesses grow by identifying and developing the right talent.
Jouve & Associés strengthens its team with Werner joining as a partner at a time when organisations are paying closer attention to culture, leadership, and long-term performance. The firm collaborates with both global corporations and family-owned businesses, guiding them through executive recruitment and transformation initiatives.
Werner’s mix of consulting expertise and hands-on leadership in luxury brands positions her to bring valuable insights to clients navigating competitive markets.
Her appointment underlines Jouve & Associés’ commitment to deepening its capabilities in the luxury and consumer sectors, while also broadening its global perspective on leadership development.
