Fashion by Informa has named Emilie Lewis as its new Vice President of Events. She will now lead the company’s well-known fashion marketplaces in Las Vegas and Nashville.
In her new role, Lewis will guide the strategy and growth of top wholesale fashion events like Magic, Project, and OffPrice. She aims to build stronger ties between brands, retailers, and buyers, and help the wholesale marketplace keep evolving.
Lewis has over 20 years of experience in fashion, retail, lifestyle, and events. She has held senior roles at well-known companies such as Emerald Holdings, Seacret Beauty, Reed Exhibitions, Brookfield Properties, and Informa Group.
She has led major trade shows like MJBizCon, ASD Market Week, the International Gift Exposition, and the Sports Licensing & Tailgate Show. She has also worked on new business ventures and helped revitalize the California Market Center in Los Angeles.
Lewis already knows Fashion by Informa’s portfolio. Earlier in her career, she played a key role in growing Coterie by boosting revenue, bringing in more international buyers, and building strong ties with top fashion brands and partners.
Simon Ferguon, Executive Vice President at Fashion by Informa, said that Lewis’s deepndustry knowledge and strong leadership make her the right person to lead the Las Vegas and Nashville marketplaces as they grow.
The next events on the company’s calendar are Magic Las Vegas, set for August 10 to 12 at the Las Vegas Convention Center, and Coterie New York, which will take place September 9 to 11 at the Javits Center.
Trade shows like Magic, Project, and Coterie are still some of the most important business platforms in fashion. Retailers use these events to spot new trends and form buying partnerships well before products reach stores. Good leadership at these shows can boost brand visibility and open up new business opportunities worldwide.
