The Role of I4C in Cybersecurity

The MHA established the Indian Cyber Crime Coordination Centre (I4C) as a dedicated unit to address the increasing complexity and frequency of cybercrimes in India. It provides a framework for law enforcement agencies (LEAs) to collaborate and combat cybercrime in a coordinated manner, ensuring that perpetrators of these crimes are tracked down and held accountable.

I4C’s primary mission includes:

  • Promoting cybersecurity awareness.
  • Offering resources for individuals and businesses to protect themselves online.

The organization encourages citizens to report to India’s Cyber Crime Helpline Number 1930 or via the cybercrime.gov.in website, making it easier for people to seek help in the event of an online attack.

One of the most searched questions online is How to Complaint Cyber Crime
