Thousands of teaching aspirants nationwide are eagerly checking the Central Board of Secondary Education’s official website for the answer key of the February 2026 Central Teacher Eligibility Test. Usually, the provisional answer key is released about fifteen days after the exam. Since the test took place on February 7 and 8, many expect the answer key to be released around March 2, 2026.
The CTET exam is conducted for candidates who wish to teach Classes 1 to 5 and Classes 6 to 8. Paper 1 is meant for those aiming to teach primary classes, while Paper 2 is for upper primary levels. After the answer key is released, candidates can estimate their probable scores by matching their responses to the official answers.
To access the answer key, candidates need to visit the official website ctet.nic.in. On the homepage, they should click on the login link for the February 2026 answer key. After entering their registration ID and password, the answer key along with their response sheet will appear on the screen. Please download and save a copy for future use.
The board will also allow candidates to raise objections if they find any errors in the provisional answer key. Each objection will be reviewed carefully. Once all challenges are examined, a final answer key will be released. The CTET result will be prepared based on this final version.
In another update, Paper 2 was cancelled at two exam centres in Bihar because of unavoidable issues. These centres are St. John’s Academy in Basmati Nagar, Vaishali in Hajipur, and Lakshya International Academy. The board confirmed that affected candidates will have another opportunity to take the exam within 15 days. The new schedule will be shared with them directly.
For now, candidates should keep visiting the official website regularly to stay updated.
