TeamLease Services has announced a major leadership transition, reflecting its commitment to growth and stability and inspiring confidence among investors, employees, and partners. The company’s Board of Directors has appointed Suparna Mitra as the new Managing Director and Chief Executive Officer, effective February 2, 2026.
Mitra will succeed Ashok Reddy, who has been leading the company as MD & CEO. Reddy will transition to a new role as Executive Vice Chairman. Meanwhile, Manish Sabharwal will step down from his executive responsibilities and continue as a Non-Executive, Non-Independent Director. Narayan Ramachandran will continue as Chairman.
Suparna Mitra joins TeamLease with extensive leadership experience from Titan Company, where she served as CEO of the Watches & Wearables Division, showcasing her ability to lead growth and innovation.
Before Titan, Mitra built her career across leading organisations such as Hindustan Lever Limited and Arvind Brands. Her cross-sector experience spanning FMCG, fashion, and consumer technology has made her one of India’s most respected business leaders. She also serves on the Board of Swiggy and is a member of the Board of Governors at IIM Kozhikode.
Welcoming the new leadership, Ashok Reddy said the transition marks the natural next phase for the company.
“The next phase for TeamLease will be focused on higher margins, faster growth, and deeper institutionalisation and leadership with fresh strategic insights,” he shared. He highlighted Mitra’s strong mix of vision, consumer understanding, and technology focus to reinforce confidence in the company’s future.
Chairman Narayan Ramachandran echoed this confidence, noting: “Suparna’s cross-sector experience and her deep understanding of customers, technology, and people make her the ideal leader for TeamLease’s next chapter.”
In her statement, Mitra said she is honoured to join TeamLease at a transformative moment in India’s employment landscape. “I look forward to working closely with the Board and the leadership team to unlock the next phase of growth, digital innovation, and social impact,” she said.
The appointment comes as TeamLease continues to strengthen its position as a leading human resources and staffing solutions provider in India. With Suparna Mitra at the helm, the company is preparing for its next phase of innovation and expansion, aimed at improving employment opportunities, embracing digital advancements, and contributing to India’s growing workforce ecosystem.
