Cambridge International has officially released the results for its March 2025 examination series. The results include those from the IGCSE (Class 10) and A-Level (Class 12) exams, taken by more than 17,000 students from 420 schools across India.
This year saw a record number of entries, with over 85,000 exam submissions during the March session alone. Among these, the IGCSE exams received over 62,000 entries—a 12% increase from last year. The AS and A-Level exams also saw growth, with over 20,000 entries marking a 10% rise.
Students in India can choose to sit for Cambridge exams in March, June, or November. However, a growing number opted for the March series this year, showing an increasing preference for early assessment and results.
One subject in particular, Cambridge IGCSE Global Perspectives, saw a 24% jump in student participation. This course focuses on building critical thinking, research, and teamwork skills, highlighting a shift in education toward preparing students for real-world challenges.
Schools in Mumbai offering the Cambridge curriculum had an outstanding performance, with all of them reporting a 100% pass rate.
Cambridge International’s curriculum continues to grow in popularity in India, with over 800 schools offering it. Globally, the Cambridge system is taught in more than 10,000 schools across 160 countries, known for its strong academic foundation and emphasis on future-ready skills.
The rising number of students choosing Cambridge shows the growing demand for a global, skills-based education model that prepares learners for success in higher education and beyond.
