Derived from a Native American name meaning “High Mountain,” Zaltanyah is an artist whose journey reflects both the climb and the view from the summit. An actress, singer, model, and dancer, Zaltanyah is emerging as one of entertainment’s most unconventional rising voices, blending performance, fashion design, music, and advocacy into a singular creative identity.
Coining the title “Emo Cinderella of Hollywood,” Zaltanyah uses the phrase not as aesthetic branding alone, but as autobiography. Having endured years of bullying, domestic violence, and sexual assault, Ze has transformed survival into artistry, channeling hardship into a platform rooted in empowerment, visibility, and self-expression.
Identifying as both non-binary spiritually and female biologically, using Ze/Zir as well as She/Her pronouns, Zaltanyah represents a new wave of performers reshaping conversations around identity, authenticity, and representation in modern entertainment.
Dreams Born in Secret
Zaltanyah’s love for performance began quietly, nurtured in imagination long before opportunity.
Raised in a deeply religious household, creative expression was not easily accessible. Yet film and television became a window into possibility. Watching Lizzie McGuire and Confessions of a Teenage Drama Queen, Ze recalls envisioning herself on stage beside Hilary Duff and Lindsay Lohan, not as fantasy, but destiny waiting for permission.
“I held those dreams deep in my heart,” Ze shares. “Even when I had no outlet for them.”
A life-threatening battle with toxic mold exposure in 2020 would become the defining catalyst. Facing mortality reframed everything.
“Life felt too short not to chase what I knew I was meant to do.”
Shortly after, an iPOP! audition invitation arrived, what Zaltanyah calls a “Carpe Diem moment.” Ze accepted, launching a professional path that quickly gained traction, earning 17 callbacks in the first year and later securing management representation with Robert “Bob” Blume of Step Forward Entertainment.

Training Forged Through Resilience
Much of Zaltanyah’s training was built through relentless self-education during years of personal confinement.
Ze immersed Zirself in acting programs including Margie Haber Studio, Unstoppable Actors Academy,
National Performers Academy, SCSOPA, and The Study Acting Studio, alongside mentorship from Jareb Dauplaise and Robert Vito. Music training spans Vendera Vocal Academy, Stevie Mackey Studio, School of Rock, and Ridley Academy, where Ze is currently studying piano under Stephen Ridley.
Dance disciplines include K-Pop training with Jae Shim & Jay Kim through Keens Academy. Also learning interpretive dance, and ballroom styles such as Bachata, Tango, and Salsa, all feeding into Zir performance alter ego. Language study is equally central. Zaltanyah is actively learning
Korean, French, and Japanese, driven by a desire to communicate with global audiences in their native dialects.
“I want fans to feel seen and spoken to in their own language,” Ze explains.
Harvezt Angelz: The Phoenix Persona
As a music and dance artist, Zaltanyah performs under the stage identity Harvezt Angelz, envisioned as a fiery Seraphim angel, equal parts phoenix and dragon.
The persona embodies Zir life philosophy: “If a dream seems possible, you are not dreaming BIG enough. Dream the mission impossible.”
Under this banner, Ze also designs celebrity fashion through Harvezt Angelz Dezignz, creating custom fame-spelled jackets and statement runway pieces worn by musicians and performers.
At iPOP!, this fusion of fashion and performance became a breakout moment. Zaltanyah’s custom Wicked-inspired gala look and Emerald City runway coat led to casting in multiple showcases, including portraying the Angel of Music in a Phantom of the Opera runway presentation.
Film Breakthrough: “And Out Comes the Wolf”
Zaltanyah recently made an on-screen appearance in the indie feature And Out Comes the Wolf, directed by Danny Peykoff and written by Jason and Jamie Neese (The Umbrella Academy).
The $10 million production stars Orlando Norman, Giancarlo Esposito, Harold Perrineau, Taryn Manning, and Ryan Hurst, with filming centered around Portland’s underground punk scene.
Though a non-speaking role, Zaltanyah’s presence is visually prominent, particularly in club sequences styled entirely from Zir personal wardrobe, reflecting an authentic pop-punk identity aligned with the film’s Rancid-inspired narrative.
“It was surreal seeing the camera find me in those scenes,” Ze recalls. “It felt like the universe saying, ‘You belong here.’”
Award-Winning Momentum
Zaltanyah’s iPOP! journey has been decorated with accolades, including:
- Winner: TV Beauty Commercial (2026) (self-written script on Spencer Charnas brand Pretty Evil Co).
- Winner: Dance Competition (2026)(self-choreographed to Ice Nine Kills – A Grave Mistake).
- 3rd Runner Up: Monologue Competition (2026)(Jim Carrey’s – Liar Liar Monologue).
- 3nd Runner Up: Fashion Print Competition (2025).
- 2nd Runner Up: Dance Competition (2025)(self-choreographed to Imminence – Alleviate).
- Scholarship Awards for consecutive years.
Winning first place for Zir Ice Nine Kills – A Grave Mistake choreography remains a defining emotional milestone, especially after performing the routine live for the band during a New Orleans meet-and-greet months earlier. I was also awarded the Scholarship to return to iPOP! in January 2027 for the second time in a row, thanks to Kirstin Poulin, German Morales and Coutrney Stewart’s generosity and seeing my rising star potential.

Fashion Without Height Limits
At five feet tall, Zaltanyah is also advocating for runway inclusivity, specifically height diversity. Ze challenges traditional high-fashion standards, arguing that global consumer bases, particularly in Asia, reflect a broader spectrum of physical representation than the runway often allows.
Future ambitions include collaborations with Dior, Prada, and Louboutin, as well as launching Zir own fashion runway platforms if necessary.
Creative Vision Across Mediums
Zaltanyah’s acting aspirations span fantasy, superhero, and gothic genres including dream roles such as:
- Disney’s Anastasia
- DC’s Zatanna
- Marvel’s Spider-Girl
- Original characters like Enya Poppycock, a dragon-hybrid anti-hero Ze created
Television inspirations range from Gossip Girl to The Vampire Diaries, reflecting a desire to explore both high-fashion drama and supernatural storytelling.
Purpose Beyond Fame
Despite bold branding and theatrical ambition, Zaltanyah defines Zir core identity in one word: “Sweetheart”, a title Ze holds close, reinforced by mentors and collaborators who’ve recognized Zir empathy and generosity.
“It was a defining moment when Spencer Charnas called me Sweetheart. I felt seen for my true heart.”
One long-term goal is launching a nonprofit called House of Refuge, designed to support survivors of domestic violence and homelessness, causes deeply personal to Zir lived experience.
A Star Powered by Impossibility
From surviving trauma to designing couture, choreographing award-winning performances, and stepping onto film sets, Zaltanyah’s rise is anything but conventional. Yet that’s precisely the point.
“I’m here to prove that impossible dreams are the only one’s worth chasing.”
And as Harvezt Angelz continues to rise, phoenix-like, Hollywood may soon find that the “Emo Cinderella” was never waiting for rescue. She was building her own kingdom all along.
