Greyson Iwamoto is an actor and model from San Francisco, California who enjoys acting and modelling. Greyson is part of NYLA Talent, the world’s leader in the talent development and consulting space where he trains with Connor Weil (Disney’s: KC Undercover) for acting and Suzanne Von Schaack for modelling.
Since starting his career, Greyson has participated in the movie “Fight 4 Your Life”, multiple commercials and print campaigns for various brands including America Kids Multicultural World, Soul Loving Studio, Sugar Sprout Sweets, Family Future Legacy, and Itsy Photography.
When Greyson is not acting or modelling, he enjoysplaying baseball, gaming, swimming, and cake decorating. Building legos, engineering/robotics and technology in addition to his continued community volunteer efforts.
HI, WELCOME TO ABOUT INSIDER! THANKS FOR TAKING THE TIME TO CHAT WITH US! CAN YOU TELL US A LITTLE BIT ABOUT YOURSELF, WHO IS GREYSON IWAMOTO IN YOUR OWN WORDS?
Hi, my name is Greyson Iwamoto, and I am 11 years old. I love baseball, video games, building legos, technology (robotics), engineering and trying to do/learn new things in the world. I’m lucky my parents give me lots of opportunities to experience different things.I’m a fast learner so I work hard and play hard. Just like any other kid, I like to hang out with my friends and family.
HOW DID YOU START AND HOW WAS YOUR FIRST EXPERIENCE IN THE INDUSTRY?
I started before I could remember but I look back at photos and loved it. So, when I got older, I did small jobs for local businesses for social media and other related marketing campaigns. Every job was a little different, so it was fun to learn and experience it.
TELL US ABOUT YOUR ROLE IN THE ACTION ADVENTURE FILM “FIGHT 4 YOUR LIFE”?
For this movie I was a palace citizen and traveler,and a few other scenes. It’s a great project and I am proud to have been part of it.
DID YOU HAVE TO DO ANYTHING SPECIAL TO PREPARE FOR YOUR PART?
For this role I didn’t have to prepare much other than to get a good night’s sleep and have a healthy breakfast. It was a long day of shooting.
DO YOU PREFER TO BE AN ACTOR OR A MODEL?
Open to both, but if I had to choose… it would be an actor. An actor because I like to be other characters and show different personalities and emotions. It’s fun to pretend to be someone else sometimes.
TELL US ABOUT YOUR TRAINING AT NYLA TALENT?
I like doing the training and it was actually fun. I got to learn new things like different acting methods. I got to learn improv, expressions, and how different voice inflections (sound changes) make a big difference in the monologue, commercial or script you are doing. Make the character come alive.
