The State Bank of India (SBI) has announced the recruitment process for 14,191 Junior Associate (Customer Support and Sales) vacancies. The preliminary examination will take place on February 22, 27, 28, and March 1, 2025. Candidates who have applied for these positions can download their admit cards starting February 10, 2025.

Preliminary Examination Details

The first phase of the selection process is an online preliminary exam consisting of 100 objective-type questions. The total duration of the exam is one hour, with three sections:

  • English Language: 30 questions, 30 marks, 20 minutes
  • Numerical Ability: 35 questions, 35 marks, 20 minutes
  • Reasoning Ability: 35 questions, 35 marks, 20 minutes
Marking Scheme
  • Each correct answer carries one mark.
  • There will be a negative marking of 1/4th of the marks allotted to each question for incorrect responses.
  • No minimum qualifying marks are required for individual sections or the overall score.
  • Candidates will be shortlisted for the Main Exam based on their aggregate marks, with approximately 10 times the number of vacancies moving forward to the next stage.

Main Examination Details

The second phase of the selection process is the SBI Clerk Main Exam. This test consists of 190 questions carrying 200 marks, with a total duration of 2 hours and 40 minutes. The exam is divided into four sections:

  • General/Financial Awareness: 50 questions, 50 marks, 35 minutes
  • General English: 40 questions, 40 marks, 35 minutes
  • Quantitative Aptitude: 50 questions, 50 marks, 45 minutes
  • Reasoning Ability & Computer Aptitude: 50 questions, 60 marks, 45 minutes
