Luna Ellie is bold and unapologetically herself, someone who speaks her mind and doesn’t let anyone get to her… on the internet. Deep down, I’ve always been extremely shy and timid. Anyone that knows me, knows I am a true Pisces to my core. Compassionate, artistic, empathic, and let’s not forget… very emotional LOL!

Gaming has always been a hobby of mine, I grew up in a family filled primarily with boys so if I wasn’t holding my weight in a COD lobby… I was going to be made fun of. However, cosplay wasn’t something that piqued my interest until a few years ago. If I’m being quite honest, the reason that I combined these two passions into what it is today is because I was told that I couldn’t, I was told that I’d be pretty bad at it and that I shouldn’t even attempt it. I don’t think they realized how much that would motivate me.

Envy Management is a product of many, many failures. Prior to building my own business, I watched all of my friends in the content creation space fall for false promises and unrealistic contracts. It almost felt like if I wasn’t going to create something for the people I cared about, who would? How could I trust someone to ethically guide both myself and my friends to success? It had to be me.
YOUR LIVE STREAMS AND COSPLAY CREATIONS HAVE GAINED A MASSIVE FOLLOWING WORLDWIDE. HOW DO YOU MAINTAIN SUCH A STRONG CONNECTION WITH YOUR AUDIENCE? WHAT STRATEGIES DO YOU USE TO ENGAGE AND INTERACT WITH YOUR VIEWERS?
Thankfully maintaining such a strong connection with my audience hasn’t been hard at all. Growing up, I didn’t have many friends and I’ve always struggled with mental health. Streaming finally gave me the opportunity to be something more than an Instagram picture. I was able to communicate directly with people all over the world and connect with them over REAL interests. My streaming community has brought me my closest friends that I have today.
IN THE GAMING INDUSTRY, FEMALE REPRESENTATION HAS BEEN A TOPIC OF DISCUSSION. HAVE YOU FACED ANY UNIQUE CHALLENGES OR BIASES AS A WOMAN IN THIS FIELD? HOW DO YOU PROMOTE INCLUSIVITY AND DIVERSITY IN THE GAMING AND COSPLAY COMMUNITIES?
I think every woman in this field has faced some type of challenge and I don’t think it’s spoken about enough, or in the correct way either. For the first year of my career, I subjected myself to hoodies and baggy t-shirts just to be taken seriously while playing video games. When I wasn’t actively streaming, I was training just to avoid negative comments about my performance. I am a firm believer that it is easier to succeed as a female streamer, I understand my priviledge. I will always work my hardest to make the most of it.
YOUR CHARITABLE CONTRIBUTIONS AND EFFORTS TO RAISE AWARENESS ON SOCIAL ISSUES THROUGH COSPLAY HAVE BEEN COMMENDABLE. CAN YOU SHARE SOME OF THE CAUSES THAT ARE PARTICULARLY CLOSE TO YOUR HEART AND WHY YOU CHOSE TO SUPPORT THEM?
I wouldn’t necessarily say that cosplay has been the gateway to raising awareness on social issues. However, I have always stayed true to donating my Twitch proceeds to my community for any of their needs. Causes can be as simple as purchasing groceries for someone in need, to raising thousands for someone’s cancer treatments, but they all have sentimental value to me.
LOOKING AHEAD, WHAT ARE YOUR FUTURE ASPIRATIONS AND GOALS AS A CONTENT CREATOR, ENTREPRENEUR, AND COSPLAYER? IS THERE ANY SPECIFIC PROJECT OR DREAM COLLABORATION YOU HAVE YOUR EYES SET ON?
I have many aspirations and goals in sight, I have a few dream collaborations in the works right now!
YOU’VE COLLABORATED WITH RENOWNED BRANDS AND SPOKEN AT INDUSTRY EVENTS. HOW DO YOU BALANCE YOUR VARIOUS ROLES AS A CONTENT CREATOR, ENTREPRENEUR, AND SPEAKER? WHAT ADVICE DO YOU HAVE FOR OTHERS LOOKING TO DIVERSIFY THEIR CAREER IN SIMILAR WAYS?
As a content creator, entrepreneur, and speaker, I’ve learned that balance can sometimes be unrealistic. However, there is beauty in the chaos when you love what you do… and well, Google Calendar!
WHAT’S SOMETHING WE SHOULD KNOW ABOUT YOU THAT MIGHT SURPRISE US?
I spent a few years of my life without a home. From the age of 15 to 22, I was either living in my car or couchsurfing. If I was lucky, sometimes my friends’ parents would let me stay in their guestrooms, but generosity always runs out. Prior to content creation, I was working 3 jobs at a time, showering at my local gym, and saving change just to fill my gas tank. If you were looking for a cheerful fun fact, well, I’ve played the violin since I was in third grade and I currently play the cello.

I do have some projects that I am working on but I can’t Jinx them!
WHAT IS ONE MESSAGE THAT YOU WOULD LIKE TO GIVE TO YOUR FANS?
There will always be negativity in the world and not everyone is meant to like you, but use that, let that fuel you to keep going. Don’t let discouragement eat you alive, take control of it. Prove them wrong.
