Puma has announced a big change in its top leadership team. Just a few months after Arthur Hoeld became the CEO of Puma, he chose Andreas Hubert as the company’s new Chief Operating Officer (COO). This makes Hubert the fifth member of Puma’s executive committee.
Hubert has been working with Puma for 20 years. He will officially start his new job on September 1, 2025. As COO, Hubert will be in charge of global sourcing operations. This includes important areas such as sustainability, product development, IT, and logistics.
For the last four years, Hubert has led Puma’s IT department, looking after technology strategies, systems, and services. However, he is also a sourcing expert. Before working in IT, he was Vice President of Sourcing in Hong Kong, where he gained deep experience in managing supply chains and suppliers.
Earlier this year, Anne-Laure Descours, who had been in charge of sourcing for a long time, stepped down from her position. She now advises Puma on how to make its business more socially and environmentally responsible.
Hubert’s new position will combine responsibilities that were previously handled by several leaders. For example:
- Procurement was managed by the product director
- IT was handled by the finance director
- Logistics was managed by the managing director
Now, all these areas will come together under Hubert’s leadership.
CEO’s Statement

“With his strong experience in IT, sourcing, and supply chain management, he brings the right mix of skills. He will help us improve Puma’s global operations, speed up our digital transformation, and make our supply chain stronger as we move into our next growth phase.”
