Puma has announced the appointment of Nadia Kokni as its new Vice President of Global Brand Marketing, effective January 1. In her new role, she will report directly to Maria Valdes, Puma’s Chief Brand Officer, and will be responsible for shaping the brand’s global presence.
Kokni will lead Puma’s global brand marketing strategy, creative direction, and integrated marketing and communications. Her appointment comes as Puma works to strengthen its global identity and bring its product stories and innovation closer to its brand message.
With a career spanning some of the world’s most recognised names in sports, fashion, and lifestyle, Kokni brings deep international experience to Puma. She has held senior roles at JD Sports, H&M, adidas, and Tommy Hilfiger. Most recently, she served as Senior Vice President of Global Marketing and Communications at Hugo Boss, where she led a major brand transformation and drove digital growth.
Maria Valdes said Kokni is a strong addition to Puma’s leadership team, praising her ability to build modern brands that connect with today’s consumers through creativity, clarity, and cultural relevance. Valdes also noted that Kokni’s leadership will help Puma create stronger, clearer product stories and build deeper relationships with customers worldwide.
Kokni said she is excited to join Puma, noting the brand has a strong heritage and a clear opportunity to grow at the intersection of sport, culture, and performance. She added that she looks forward to working with teams worldwide to tell meaningful stories that inspire consumers and support Puma’s next phase of growth.
Kokni takes over from Richard Teyssier, who has decided to leave the company to explore new opportunities outside Puma.
