Poshmark is building its leadership team as it prepares for the next stage of growth. The fashion resale platform has named Elizabeth von der Goltz as its first Chief Revenue Officer, showing a move toward a more unified and brand-focused business approach.

Von der Goltz will join Poshmark in January and will lead all of the company’s commercial and marketing activities. She will be responsible for merchandising, sourcing, partnerships, customer growth, brand direction, creative work, communications, and social media. The company says her main goal is to combine creative ideas and business strategy into one strong revenue plan.

Poshmark CEO Namsun Kim called this appointment a major step for the company. He said that while Poshmark has been known for its focus on products and technology, the future will need a better mix of business skills, creativity, and strong branding. Kim highlighted that von der Goltz offers a unique combination of luxury fashion expertise, digital retail experience, and global operations expertise that aligns with Poshmark’s new goals.

Von der Goltz brings over 20 years of experience in fashion, luxury, and e-commerce to Poshmark. She was most recently Chief Commercial Officer at Matches Fashion and has also been CEO of Browns and Chief Fashion and Merchandising Officer at Farfetch. Earlier, she held senior roles at Bergdorf Goodman and was Global Buying Director at Net-a-Porter, giving her a strong background in both traditional luxury retail and digital marketplaces.

Looking ahead to her new position, von der Goltz said she has always focused on what comes next for consumers. She mentioned social commerce, peer-to-peer connections, and circular fashion as key trends shaping retail’s future. She believes Poshmark is in a strong place to lead, as resale and vintage fashion have become mainstream and are changing the way people shop.

She also pointed out the chance to bring together Poshmark’s strong product and technology base with smart merchandising and brand building. For her, joining Poshmark means helping to shape a new era of fashion discovery, where community and creativity are just as important as convenience in buying and selling.

By adding a Chief Revenue Officer, Poshmark is showing it is making bigger changes. The company says this move shifts its focus from products and technology to a more complete retail experience. This new approach combines business, creativity, and community to support long-term growth.

With von der Goltz joining the executive team, Poshmark seems ready to strengthen its brand and grow its revenue. The company aims to become more than just a resale marketplace and to play a key role in the future of fashion retail.
