Loewe, the Spanish luxury house within the LVMH portfolio, has appointed Thierry Conrad Reutenauer as Chief Marketing Officer, effective immediately. This move represents a significant step in the brand’s global strategy.
Reutenauer joined Loewe in October 2025 as Global Communications Director, and his rapid elevation to CMO reflects the brand’s confidence in his vision and leadership. In his new role, he will oversee a wide-ranging portfolio that includes art direction, arts and culture, brand and product marketing, communications and events, editorial, marketing programmes, media, social platforms, and VIP relations.
This appointment comes as Loewe builds on its creative momentum and sharpens its global brand voice.
Reutenauer graduated from Utrecht University of Applied Sciences with a background in media and corporate communications. He began his career in public relations and events, with early roles at Karla Otto and Cerruti, which established his expertise in luxury positioning.
In 2014, he joined Chloé (Richemont group) as Director of Public Relations, VIP, and Events. During his tenure, the brand, led by Clare Waight Keller and later Natacha Ramsay-Levi, achieved strong cultural relevance and visibility.
In 2020, Reutenauer joined the Kering group, first as Senior Communications Manager at Bottega Veneta and later as Global Communications Director. Over five years, he worked alongside creative directors Daniel Lee, Matthieu Blazy, and most recently Louise Trotter, contributing to the brand’s evolving identity and global influence.
Reutenauer joined Loewe on October 20, 2025, shortly after American designers Lázaro Hernández and Jack McCollough became the house’s new creative directors. Their appointment followed Jonathan Anderson’s departure in spring 2025, after more than a decade of transforming Loewe into a leading name in global luxury before he moved to lead Dior.
By appointing Thierry Conrad Reutenauer as CMO, Loewe demonstrates its intent to strengthen its cultural presence, storytelling, and global reach. His experience in communications, brand strategy, and creative collaboration will be central as Loewe enters a new era that blends heritage, contemporary creativity, and international ambition.
