Luxury group Kering, which owns brands including Gucci, Saint Laurent, Bottega Veneta, Balenciaga and Boucheron, has appointed Flore Larger to a senior corporate communications role. The move is part of CEO Luca de Meo’s broader efforts to strengthen the group’s management structure and bring cross-industry expertise into the business.
She will take over a senior communications position that has remained vacant since Paul Michon left the group to join Renault at the beginning of the year. Larger brings experience across corporate communications, pharmaceuticals, renewable energy and investment banking to her new role.
A graduate of EDHEC Business School, Larger began her career in corporate communications before joining pharmaceutical company Sanofi in 2013. During her four years at the company, she held several strategic positions and also worked as a spokesperson.
In September 2017, she moved to EDF Energies Nouvelles, now known as EDF Renewables, where she became head of communications. Her responsibilities included overseeing the renewable energy business’s image strategy.
Larger later joined Lazard, where she took on the role of communications director for its financial advisory activities. Her work has included managing press relations and overseeing corporate and financial communications.
Her appointment comes as Kering continues a major restructuring under Luca de Meo, who joined the group as chief executive officer approximately a year ago. The company has been strengthening cross-functional roles as it accelerates its transformation amid challenging conditions in the global luxury market.
Kering’s portfolio includes some of the most recognised names in luxury fashion and jewellery. Strengthening corporate communications is key to managing the group’s relationships with the media, investors, and other stakeholders as the business navigates its next phase.
The company is scheduled to announce its third-quarter financial results on October 22, 2026. The results will offer further insight into performance as the group continues restructuring and responds to changing conditions in the luxury sector.
With experience spanning several major industries, Larger’s appointment reflects Kering’s approach of drawing on expertise beyond traditional luxury fashion as it reshapes its leadership and communications structure.
