Jennifer Lopez made a striking appearance at Vogue World Milano in a dramatic black Dolce & Gabbana gown that combined old-school glamour with a daring, sheer finish.
The strapless Alta Moda 2025 creation featured a fitted corset-style bodice decorated with oversized black floral appliqués. Cut low across the chest, the bodice created a plunging effect, while sheer sections added a barely-there illusion to the upper half of the dress. The floral detailing helped balance the revealing design with an elaborate, couture-like finish.

The drama continued through the skirt, which opened into a voluminous, ankle-grazing silhouette. Layers of black fabric gave the gown a structured ball-gown shape, while glossy floral embellishments added texture and movement. Despite being entirely black, the dress had enough detail to stay visually striking.
Lopez paired the gown with long sheer black opera gloves, adding another glamorous element to the ensemble. She also wore pointed black Dolce & Gabbana lace slingbacks, keeping the footwear understated against the dramatic dress.
Her jewellery brought a completely different note to the otherwise monochrome look. A Dolce & Gabbana Alta Gioielleria necklace featured a large Paraiba tourmaline pendant surrounded by diamonds, with matching earrings adding more sparkle. The vivid blue stone stood out beautifully against the black gown.

Lopez wore her brunette hair in voluminous waves and kept her makeup glowing, finishing the look with a rosy lip. The overall styling had the scale and theatricality expected from a major fashion event, while the intricate floral work and jewel-toned pendant gave the ensemble its own personality.
At Vogue World Milano, Jennifer Lopez’s Dolce & Gabbana appearance was all about contrast – sheer against structured, delicate jewellery against dramatic black fabric, and classic evening glamour with a decidedly bold edge.
