New Delhi — The Institute of Banking Personnel Selection (IBPS) has released the admit card for the Probationary Officer (PO) Main Examination 2025. Candidates who have registered for the exam can now download their hall tickets from the official website, ibps.in, using their registration number and date of birth or password.

The IBPS PO Main exam is scheduled for October 12, 2025. The admit card will remain available for download until the exam date. Candidates must carry a printed copy of the hall ticket along with a valid photo ID, such as Aadhaar card, PAN card, passport, voter ID, or driving licence. Without these documents, entry to the exam hall will not be permitted.

Steps to Download IBPS PO Mains Admit Card

  3. Enter your registration number/roll number and password/date of birth
  4. Submit the details and download the admit card
  5. Take a printout for exam day

The admit card will include important details such as the candidate’s name, roll number, exam centre, reporting time, and instructions for the exam day.

IBPS PO Mains Exam Pattern

The IBPS PO Main Examination consists of both objective and descriptive tests:

  • Objective Test (200 marks): Reasoning & Computer Aptitude, Data Analysis & Interpretation, General Economy & Banking Awareness, and English Language.
  • Descriptive Test (25 marks): English essay and letter writing.

The total exam duration is 3 hours and 30 minutes.

IBPS PO Mains Selection Process

Candidates who qualify in the Main Examination will proceed to the interview round, which will be conducted by participating banks and coordinated by the IBPS. The final merit list will be prepared using an 80:20 weightage ratio between the Main exam and the interview.

Guidelines for Exam Day

IBPS has reminded candidates to follow exam centre rules strictly. Electronic items, such as mobile phones, smartwatches, calculators, and any stationery, including pencil boxes and geometry sets, are not allowed inside the hall. Candidates are advised to arrive at the centre well before the reporting time to avoid last-minute issues.
