In light of the Mahakumbh in Prayagraj, the Indian Institute of Technology Roorkee (IIT Roorkee) has announced an important change for GATE 2025 candidates. Examinees scheduled to take their tests on February 15 and 16 in Prayagraj will now have their examination centers relocated to Lucknow.
This decision has been made following multiple representations from candidates who expressed concerns about the difficulty of reaching the examination centers in Prayagraj due to the massive congregation of devotees expected during the Mahakumbh.
As a result, the examinations scheduled at centers in Prayagraj have been shifted to new centers in Lucknow. Below is the list of old and new centers along with their respective center codes and addresses:
