Francesco Dalli Cani Brings Italian Flair and Comic Power to “Impossible and Unstoppable” Film

Artist Francesco Dalli Cani

Italian actor and model Francesco Dalli Cani continues to build a distinctive on-screen presence with his latest appearance in Impossible and Unstoppable, a fan-made action-comedy web series inspired by the beloved animated hit Kim Possible. Set ten years after Kim Possible and Ron Stoppable graduate high school, the series imagines the iconic duo as newlyweds juggling marriage and crime-fighting, all while facing a new threat tied to Dr. Drakken’s infamous therapist, Dr. Soul.

Produced by Nickey van Tooren and Doroteja Jurican, Impossible and Unstoppable blends comedy and action with a self-aware tone that honors the original series while expanding its world for longtime fans. The project was filmed at Ava Toluca Hills and is currently available on YouTube.

Francesco appears in the series as “Bolognese Boy,” a delightfully absurd Italian superhero and the latest victim of Dr. Soul’s Super-Therapy. Armed with a highly unconventional set of powers, including the ability to summon pasta from thin air and manifest parmesan cheese from his hands, the character quickly became a standout.

“This was one of those roles that perfectly balances comedy and character,” Francesco shares. “Bolognese Boy is ridiculous on the surface, but he’s still a victim, which made him fun to explore.”

The character was developed organically during pre-production and was written specifically with Francesco in mind. At the time, the actor was sporting long platinum-blonde hair, which inspired the creative team to lean fully into the visual gag. “They said my hair reminded them of cooked pasta,” he laughs. “I’m Italian, the hair looked like spaghetti, and suddenly Bolognese Boy was born.”

Costumed in jeans, a red T-shirt reminiscent of Super Mario, a white apron with a hand-drawn plate of spaghetti, a wooden spoon, and a colander worn as a helmet, the character leaned unapologetically into physical comedy and visual storytelling, an area where Francesco’s background shines.

Though not officially involved in writing, Francesco was part of the creative core from the project’s inception, offering feedback, critiques, and suggestions throughout development. “It was a friends-first environment,” he explains. “Everyone was invested in making something fun, cohesive, and respectful of the source material.”

The shoot itself came with its share of challenges. Filming took place in a small apartment during the height of summer, where a broken air conditioner made long days on set physically demanding. Complicating matters further, the apartment belonged to a cat owner, and several crew members, including director Julio Ramos, suffered severe allergies. “By the end of the day, Julio was exhausted and having a full allergic reaction,” Francesco recalls. “But he still got everything we needed. That kind of dedication really stuck with me.”

Despite the hurdles, the collaborative spirit never wavered, and the finished episode reflects that energy.

Francesco’s involvement in Impossible and Unstoppable fits seamlessly into his broader artistic journey. Born in Arzignano and raised in Vicenza, Italy, he developed a deep love for film, language, and classical storytelling early on. After training in theatre and earning a law degree from the University of Padova, he relocated to Los Angeles in 2023 to pursue acting full-time. He graduated from the New York Film Academy in 2025 and is known for immersive character work, physical transformation, and accent versatility.

He is currently preparing a festival run for an original short film in which he plays both protagonist and antagonist, while continuing to work professionally as both an actor and model.

Impossible and Unstoppable may be a fan project, but for Francesco, it represents something larger. “Projects like this remind you why you started,” he says. “Creativity, collaboration, and trusting each other to commit fully, even when you’re wearing a colander on your head.”
