Carly Gomez Fabletics

Activewear brand Fabletics has announced two major leadership promotions as the company gears up for rapid growth and international expansion.

Carly Gomez has been promoted to Chief Marketing Officer (CMO), while Meera Bhatia has stepped up to the role of President and Chief Operating Officer (COO).

Gomez joined Fabletics in April 2024 as Senior Vice President of Brand Marketing, where she focused on brand strategy and creative direction. Before joining Fabletics, she spent nearly 11 years at Vans, holding top marketing roles across global brand management, direct-to-consumer (DTC) channels, and social media.

Now, as CMO, Gomez will lead brand marketing, digital innovation, and customer engagement efforts. “Fabletics is truly reinventing the activewear space,” Gomez said. “I’m excited to unlock new ways to elevate our brand and deliver an impactful customer experience.”

Meera Bhatia – From COO to President

Bhatia, who joined Fabletics in 2020, has played a key role in ecommerce, production, operations, and technology. In her new role as President and COO, her responsibilities now include product creation, retail, wholesale, and international operations, making her the central leader for both brand and operations.

Fabletics is aiming to exceed $1 billion in annual revenue this year and expand its retail presence beyond its current 100+ stores. The company is also pursuing international expansion, including its recent entry into Mexico through a partnership with Liverpool, a historic omnichannel retail group.

The leadership changes come after Ashley Kechter, former global brand president, left the company for Vuori. During her tenure at Fabletics, she helped drive $900 million in annual revenue and forged high-profile collaborations with celebrities such as Khloé Kardashian and Becky G.

“Meera and Carly have been exceptional leaders during a crucial phase of our growth,” said Adam Goldenberg, co-founder and CEO of Fabletics. “We’re thrilled to have them step into bigger roles and help lead us into our next chapter.”

What’s Next?

Fabletics is introducing new store formats, strengthening its international footprint, and continuing to launch celebrity collaborations and innovative activewear products. With Carly Gomez and Meera Bhatia now leading the charge, the brand is well-positioned to meet its ambitious goals in 2025 and beyond.
