From School Theatre to Professional Sets
Eri’s training began with small theatre productions at school, experiences that introduced him to performance and stage presence. Wanting more than local opportunities, he later auditioned for a short film produced by his middle school and was cast as the lead, an early milestone that reinforced his belief in his abilities.
To refine his craft, Eri pursued professional online training with NYLA Talent, studying under respected coaches Robert Vito and Connor Weil. Through this training, he not only strengthened and mastered his monologue work, but also developed a deeper understanding of character development and gained a clear, refined sense of how to tell honest, compelling stories on screen.
In September 2025, Eri was cast in a feature film, initially as a featured character. After seeing his performance, the director expanded his role significantly, increasing his screen time and placing him in multiple scenes with the camera focused directly on him rather than as background. The experience provided invaluable on-set training and affirmed his strong screen presence.
Favorite Roles and Creative Range
One of Eri’s favorite roles was portraying a celebrity walking the red carpet in the feature film, a moment that made him truly feel the excitement and responsibility of being in the spotlight. Another favorite role came in a short film where he played a rebellious, bored student, a character that allowed him to explore attitude, realism, and subtle emotional expression.

More than anything, Eri is proud of how far he has come in the past two years and deeply grateful for his mother’s sacrifices. She quit her job and brought him to Los Angeles so he could pursue his dreams, even when others doubted the decision. Making his mother and family proud remains one of his greatest motivations.
Inspiration and Personal Philosophy
Eri’s biggest inspiration is Drake, not for his music, but for his journey. He admires how Drake started as a kid with a dream, supported by a mother who believed in him, and how he eventually succeeded through dedication and perseverance. That story mirrors Eri’s own path and reinforces his commitment to honoring his parents’ support.
He lives by a powerful personal philosophy: life is like an empty book, and you hold the pen. To Eri, listening to negativity is like handing that pen to someone who does not want to see you succeed. Instead, he chooses growth, focus, and self-belief.
