The Fédération de la Haute Couture et de la Mode (FHCM) has chosen Bruno Pavlovsky, who is also President of Fashion at Chanel, to serve another four years as its president. This decision follows the organisation’s recent elections and confirms Pavlovsky’s continued leadership at one of fashion’s most important institutions.
Pascal Morand will also remain as the federation’s Executive President, providing stability in leadership as the organisation manages some of the world’s top fashion events.
The new Executive Committee keeps several well-known leaders from top luxury brands. Cédric Charbit of Saint Laurent, Elsa Lanzo of Rick Owens, Guillaume de Seynes of Hermès, and Sidney Toledano of Maison Givenchy/LVMH will continue in their roles. Myriam Serrano of Alaïa is joining the committee, taking over from Anouck Duranteau-Loeper of Isabel Marant, who has stepped down.
The federation has confirmed its Management Committee, which includes leaders from many top luxury brands. Returning members represent Christian Dior Couture, Louis Vuitton, Schiaparelli, Agnès b., Balenciaga, Dries van Noten, Officine Générale, Chloé, and Celine. New members are Sarah Benady of Jacquemus, Catherine Jacquet of Isabel Marant, and Gaetano Sciuto of Margiela.
The FHCM is a key player in the global fashion industry, planning and managing the official calendars for Paris Fashion Week Women’s, Men’s Fashion Week, and Haute Couture Week. It also works with designers, brands, and industry professionals to tackle challenges in the sector.
The organisation also takes part in discussions about French and European laws that affect the fashion industry through its commissions and expert groups. Recently, it has been active in talks about sustainability and regulations, such as France’s AGEC Law and the Climate and Resilience Law, supporting fashion businesses and promoting responsible practices.
The federation also works closely with the Institut Français de la Mode (IFM), a top fashion school, to help develop new talent in the industry.
