For as long as she can remember, Ava Ariana has dreamed of becoming an actress. Whether she was standing on the living room table wearing costumes, creating original songs for her family, or imagining herself as one of Disney’s beloved princesses, performing has always been more than just a hobby, it has been her biggest passion.
Now, as she prepares to attend iPOP! with NYLA Talent, Ava is taking an exciting step toward transforming that childhood dream into a professional career.
A Passion That Started at Home
Like many performers, Ava’s love of entertainment began long before she ever stepped onto a stage.
“I would perform for my mom on my living room table in costumes and make up song after song,” she recalls. “I still do this now.”
Those early performances sparked a love of acting, singing, and dancing that has only continued to grow over the years. Today, in addition to pursuing acting, Ava is also a competitive dancer who performs her own solo routines, giving her valuable experience performing confidently in front of an audience.
Chasing Bigger Opportunities
For Ava, attending iPOP! represents more than just another performance. She sees it as an opportunity to learn, grow, and introduce herself to industry professionals while taking another step toward her future career.
“I have always wanted to act, and iPOP! will open doors for amazing opportunities,” said Ava.
She is especially looking forward to showcasing the material she has been preparing while performing in front of agents and industry representatives.
Inspired by Disney
It’s no surprise that Ava’s dream projects involve Disney. Growing up, she admired the Disney princesses and imagined what it would be like to become one herself. Today, one project sits at the very top of her wish list.
“I would love to be in Disney Zombies,” she says.
With her background in dance, singing, and acting, musical productions remain a natural fit for the young performer as she continues developing her skills.
The People Who Inspire Her
While actress and singer Freya Skye has become one of Ava’s biggest creative inspirations, someone even closer to home continues to motivate her every day.
“My older sister Alexandra inspires me the most,” Ava says.
Ava also admires Freya Skye’s talent, kindness, and determination, having followed her career since she was thirteen years old. One of her favorite quotes, spoken by Freya, has become a personal motto.
“No dream is ever too big.”
It’s a message that perfectly reflects Ava’s own outlook as she continues pursuing her goals.
Looking Ahead
Away from performing, Ava enjoys spending time with family and friends, listening to music, singing, and continuing to develop her creativity. She also plays the flute and remains dedicated to competitive dance, while proudly admitting one unusual talent.
“I can hold a headstand for a very long time,” she laughs.
When asked to describe herself, three words immediately come to mind: Confident. Outgoing. Determined.
Those qualities continue to guide her as she works toward her biggest ambition, to one day earn a role in a television series or feature film. For Ava, simply reaching iPOP! is already an accomplishment she is proud of. But she sees it as only the beginning. Her advice to other young performers reflects the same determination that has driven her since childhood.
“You need to follow your dreams in life, or life won’t be complete.”
It’s a philosophy she lives by every day. As she prepares to showcase her talents before industry professionals, Ava remains focused on the future, determined to keep working, keep learning, and never stop believing in the dream she first discovered while performing on a living room table.
For this young performer, that dream is no longer something she simply imagines. It’s becoming a reality.
