The Staff Selection Commission has announced the results of the Combined Higher Secondary Level (CHSL) Tier 1 Examination 2025, advancing thousands of aspirants to the next stage of one of India’s most competitive recruitment processes.
Candidates who appeared for the examination between November 12 and November 30 can now access the roll number-wise result lists on the official website, ssc.gov.in.
Structured Shortlisting Across Posts
The result covers multiple posts, including:
- LDC/JSA/Clerk-cum-Typist
- Data Entry Operator (Science Stream)
- Data Entry Operator (Other than Science Stream)
Candidates who meet the qualifying criteria will now proceed to the Tier 2 examination, which will determine final selection.
Percentile-Based Qualification Criteria
Since the examination was conducted in multiple shifts, the Commission applied score normalisation to ensure fairness across sessions.
The qualifying percentiles are as follows:
- Unreserved (UR): Minimum 30th percentile
- OBC/EWS: Minimum 25th percentile
- All Other Categories: Minimum 20th percentile
This percentile-based evaluation reinforces SSC’s standardised, transparent assessment framework.
Withheld and Unprocessed Results
The Commission has withheld the results of 10 candidates for various reasons. These candidates are provisionally allowed to appear for the Tier 2 examination until further review. Additionally, the results of two candidates remain unprocessed.
Such provisions reflect SSC’s compliance-driven approach, balancing procedural scrutiny with opportunities for candidates.
