HELLO RIDA MAKHANY, WELCOME TO ABOUT INSIDER! FOR THOSE UNFAMILIAR WITH YOU, TELL US A LITTLE ABOUT YOURSELF OUTSIDE OF SHOWBIZ.
So, outside of showbiz, I’m just a student focusing on my schoolwork. On the weekends, I spend a lot of time volunteering by teaching first grade, which is really rewarding. I also love hanging out with my friends whenever I get the chance. Another big passion of mine is interior design; I love exploring how different elements come together to create beautiful spaces. Plus, I enjoy staying active, whether it’s going for a run, playing sports, or just taking a walk. Balancing school, volunteering, my interests, and staying active keeps me busy but happy.
WHAT GOT YOU INTO MODELING?
I got into modeling because when I was younger, I always watched runway shows and thought they looked really fun. I was obsessed with taking pictures, doing my own makeup and hair, and being creative with my style. My parents noticed this passion from when I was four, and it grew into something more over time. That’s when I realized modeling was the right path for me.
WHAT HAVE YOU ENJOYED SO FAR ABOUT MODELLING?
I think it’s all about the creativity and self-expression! Getting to try out distinctive styles and looks can be super fun. Plus, meeting new people and working with photographers is a cool experience too!
YOU HAVE A FEW OF BRAND DEAL, CAN YOU EXPLAIN WHAT THEY ARE?
I’m an ambassador for 4the Gals and Pure Vida. I get to show off their awesome stuff on my socials. 4thegals has the coolest trendy styles, and Pure Vida’s bracelet collection is my absolute favorite. It’s like a fun way to express my style, you know? And sometimes I get sweet discounts and early peeks at new stuff to share with my followers!
WHAT WOULD BE YOUR IDEAL JOB?
My ideal job would be in the entertainment industry, specifically in commercial print modeling. I love the idea of being part of campaigns and advertisements that reach a wide audience and creatively showcase different products and brands.
WHICH FASHION WEEK WOULD BE YOUR TOP CHOICE TO ATTEND – NEW YORK, LONDON OR PARIS?
I’d say New York Fashion Week is super exciting, especially with the Victoria’s Secret show. It’s all about the glam, the wings, and those stunning models strutting their stuff! Plus, the performances are always a highlight, because I’ve been watching the color in the pop and all of it since I was a kid.
