Pinterest Names Beth Horn VP for Southern Europe, UK & Ireland

Pinterest has strengthened its leadership team in Europe by appointing Beth Horn as vice president for Southern Europe, the United Kingdom, and Ireland. She will oversee operations in five key markets: the UK, Ireland, France, Italy, and Spain. Her promotion is an important step as the platform expands its global footprint.

Beth Horn joined Pinterest in June 2024 and previously served as business director for the UK. Before that, she was director of sales at Spotify and spent twelve years at Meta, holding senior roles in industry, retail, and commerce. Her experience with major brands and diverse markets has prepared her well for this new responsibility.

Cecile van Steenberge, Pinterest’s international vice president, said that Beth’s experience and leadership will help drive the company’s international strategy. She added that Beth has a strong track record of bringing teams together and delivering meaningful results for advertising partners, which will be essential as Pinterest enters its next phase of growth. The platform has recorded growth for nine quarters in a row and continues to attract users from around the world.

Pinterest reported that its European revenue rose by forty one percent in the most recent quarter. The company also noted that nearly eighty three percent of its users now come from outside the United States. With over half a billion monthly active users, Pinterest is one of the world’s leading destinations for inspiration and visual discovery. In recent years, the company has worked to attract luxury brands by highlighting its young and affluent audience.

The company also announced the promotion of Caroline Orange Northey as managing director for the UK and Ireland. Caroline previously served as director of retail for the region and worked closely with brands such as John Lewis, DFS, and ASOS. She joined Pinterest after leadership roles at Amazon, where she oversaw categories like fashion, home, and luxury.

Both leaders will be based in London and will report to Cecile van Steenberge.

Beth Horn said she is excited to step into a wider leadership role and continue helping millions of users find inspiration that they can turn into action. She shared that it is an energizing time to be part of Pinterest’s international team as the platform continues to grow across several important markets.

With Beth and Caroline in these new positions, Pinterest strengthens its global leadership team and reinforces its commitment to expanding in Europe while supporting brands and users with new opportunities for discovery and creativity.
