Ulta Beauty, Inc. has announced that Lauren Brindley will take over as the company’s Chief Merchandising and Digital Officer starting June 3, 2025. She will replace Monica Arnaudo, who is set to retire in June.
Ulta Beauty is the largest beauty retailer in the U.S., offering cosmetics, skincare, haircare, fragrances, and salon services. Since 1990, the company has reimagined beauty shopping by bringing together “All Things Beauty, All in One Place®.” Ulta operates more than 1,400 stores across the country and sells products online at ulta.com.
In her new role, Brindley will lead Ulta Beauty’s merchandising, e-commerce, wellness, and marketplace strategies. She will also be responsible for growing the company’s assortment and brand-building efforts.
Kecia Steelman, Ulta Beauty’s President and CEO, shared her excitement about the appointment, saying, “Lauren is a proven leader with deep industry experience and a strong passion for beauty. I believe she will help take Ulta Beauty to new heights. I also want to thank Monica for her incredible contributions and leadership.”
Brindley expressed her excitement about joining the Ulta team, saying, “I am truly honored to join Ulta Beauty and continue its legacy of innovation. I’ve long admired the brand and am excited to help shape its future.”
Brindley brings over 20 years of experience in global beauty and retail. She was most recently the CEO of Revolution Beauty and held top roles at Walgreens and Boots UK, where she helped lead major changes in luxury and everyday beauty products.
