The Bihar School Examination Board (BSEB) has officially announced the schedule for the Class 10th (Matric) and Class 12th (Intermediate) board exams for 2025. Alongside the exam dates, the board has also released model question papers to help students prepare effectively.
Bihar Board Exam 2025 Dates
- Matric (Class 10th): February 17 to 25, 2025
- Intermediate (Class 12th): February 1 to 15, 2025
Both exams will be conducted in two shifts daily:
- Morning Shift: 9:30 AM to 12:45 PM
- Afternoon Shift: 2:00 PM to 5:15 PM
Model Question Papers: A Preparation Aid
To assist students in their preparation, BSEB has released model question papers for both Class 10th and Class 12th board exams. These papers provide a blueprint of the question patterns and help students familiarize themselves with the exam format.
Steps to Download the Model Papers:

- Navigate to the “Model Paper” section under either the Matriculation or Intermediate tab.
- View and select the relevant class (10th or 12th) model paper.
- Download the PDF file and save it for preparation.

Doubling the Incentive for Board Toppers
In a move to encourage academic excellence, the Bihar Board has doubled the cash incentives for top-performing students in both Class 10th and Class 12th board exams. The revised incentives are as follows:
- First Rank: ₹2,00,000 (previously ₹1,00,000)
- Second Rank: ₹1,50,000 (previously ₹75,000)
- Third Rank: ₹1,00,000 (previously ₹50,000)
- Fourth and Fifth Ranks: ₹20,000 each (previously ₹15,000 each)
These incentives apply to the top five rank holders across all three streams in Class 12th — Arts, Commerce, and Science.
