HI, WELCOME TO ABOUT INSIDER! THANKS FOR TAKING THE TIME TO CHAT WITH US! CAN YOU TELL US A LITTLE BIT ABOUT YOURSELF, WHO IS JAZZY FAUCHERE IN YOUR OWN WORDS?
Hi there, thank you so much for having me on here! For those who don’t know me, I’m Jazzy Fauchere! I grew up in Toronto my whole life and moved to LA almost 4 years ago, to continue my career in the entertainment industry. I’d say I’m a passionate, funny, confident, and caring person. I began in the industry from a very young age, a couple of years in, I realized that I wanted to not only pursue acting, but also pursue music. Once I got into music, my career just took off from there, I was surrounding myself with the right people/mentors that really wanted the best for me and helped guide me to success. From a young age, I blessed with opportunities that almost no kid gets to experience at that age, I’ve been extremely focused on being successful ever since I can remember. Once I got into high school, I realized that this is something I want to be extremely serious about, as I can see the potential of how far I’ve come. So when I moved to LA, everything just skyrocketed from there, and now I work in all Departments of the entertainment industry. It’s been a surreal experience and all I can say is how thankful I am!

YOUR CAREER BEGAN AT JUST FOUR YEARS OLD IN COMPETITIVE DANCE—WHAT WAS IT LIKE GROWING UP IN THE ENTERTAINMENT INDUSTRY, AND HOW HAS IT SHAPED YOUR ARTISTRY TODAY?
Something I remember most would probably be how much we traveled in a year for competitions and how much we trained every day after school. It definitely taught me a lot because I would spend half my day at school and then the rest of the day at dance, so I had to try and figure out the balance between School and when I was training.
Performing since I was a kid is definitely made it extremely easier for me to perform live, it just comes so naturally to me now which I’m thankful for because it really builds that connection with me and the audience.
FROM MINI POP KIDS TO SOLO MUSIC, YOU’VE HAD A DYNAMIC JOURNEY IN THE INDUSTRY. WHAT HAS BEEN THE BIGGEST CHALLENGE TRANSITIONING FROM A GROUP PERFORMER TO A SOLO ARTIST?
Transitioning out of a group was definitely a challenge at times, but it was something I learned a lot from. One of the hardest things was just finding my solo sound, when you are in a group for many years, you start to get very used to singing with a bunch of people. When I started pursuing my solo career, I definitely took a lot of time to find my sound and something that really suits who I am as a person, which really helps build that connection with my listeners as well.

YOU’VE WORKED WITH RENOWNED PRODUCER ANDREW LANE—HOW DID THAT COLLABORATION COME ABOUT, AND WHAT HAS BEEN THE MOST VALUABLE LESSON YOU’VE LEARNED FROM WORKING WITH HIM?
I’ve had such an amazing time over the past couple years working with Andrew Lane, he’s helped me so much grow as an artist, performer, and even as a person. Andrew and I met over Instagram I recognized that he has worked with a lot of renowned artists and has worked on many films, so I decided to reach out to him. Ever since then, he’s been my manager and has really provided me with the tools to become successful.
My most valuable lesson that I’ve learned working with him is the importance of staying focused and dedicated to achieve your goals. I’ve definitely pushed myself more to really prove to myself that I can accomplish things that don’t even sound possible. So overall, just believing in yourself and what you’re capable of.
YOUR MUSIC HAS BEEN FEATURED IN FILMS LIKE THE BEST YOU CAN, AND YOU ALSO HAVE A ROLE IN MI LOCA QUINCEAÑERA. DO YOU SEE YOURSELF EXPLORING MORE ACTING ROLES IN THE FUTURE?
I’m very honored to have many amazing films coming out this year that I got to be a part of, and the process overall has definitely provided me with a lot of growth in the side of the entertainment industry. I definitely see myself exploring more acting roles in the future, I’m actually working on some films this year, so I’m going to be really excited once I can talk about those. Not only that, but I’ll also be guest starring a couple projects this year, so I’m really looking forward to all that’s to come!
WITH OVER 149K FOLLOWERS ON SOCIAL MEDIA, HOW DO YOU NAVIGATE THE PRESSURE OF BEING IN THE PUBLIC EYE WHILE STAYING AUTHENTIC TO YOURSELF?
I’m very thankful that I have a dedicated following and a strong social media presence. Ever since I started social media, I’ve always wanted to be the most authentic version of myself that I can be. I know as a viewer, I get frustrated when I see people on the internet not being authentic, so I try my best to give my viewers the most authentic version of me. I also try and put myself in my viewer’s shoes and take a step back to look at everything I post and try and see it from their perspective to make sure that everything I put out is my real self.

BEYOND ENTERTAINMENT, YOU’RE PASSIONATE ABOUT GIVING BACK, FROM SUPPORTING LA FIRE VICTIMS TO ADVOCATING FOR CHILDREN’S MENTAL HEALTH. WHAT DRIVES YOUR COMMITMENT TO THESE CAUSES?
One of the most important things to me is giving back, when the fires were occurring in Los Angeles I donated all the proceeds from my show in February to all the fire victims. This meant a lot to me because performing to me isn’t a job it’s something I genuinely love and if I can help as many people as I can going through this time that is my priority. On top of that, I knew a lot of people that were affected by the fires, so having that deeper connection with them and just hearing what they went through incredibly opened my eyes, and everyone coming together in LA to help each other was something that was very special to see. I think we need to continue doing that, not just in LA but everywhere around the world.
WHAT CAN FANS EXPECT NEXT FROM YOU—ANY UPCOMING MUSIC, COLLABORATIONS, OR PROJECTS YOU’RE EXCITED TO SHARE?
There’s definitely going to be a lot coming out this year music wise, I’ve been constantly in the studio, so I’m going to be releasing a lot of new music soon. Out of all my music, my upcoming songs that I’m going to be releasing are ones that I hold very close to me because I am showing vulnerability through my writing and sharing things with the world that I’ve experienced through music. Some of those songs that I’m going to be releasing will have very talented artists collaborating with me on the songs, so definitely stay tuned for that!
I don’t want to spoil too much, but I will be appearing on some shows and films this year that I’m very excited for, and I can’t wait to talk about it once I can give more details.
FOR YOUNG ASPIRING PERFORMERS LOOKING UP TO YOU, WHAT’S THE BEST ADVICE YOU CAN GIVE THEM ABOUT PURSUING A CAREER IN MUSIC AND ENTERTAINMENT?
My advice for young aspiring performers looking up to me would be to have a lot of patience going into this industry. Everything that I accomplished didn’t come overnight, I’ve put years of hard work and patience into my career. When you have that drive to put in your all Inconsistently staying focused, you’ll definitely see results and progression. Another tip I would give is on your days with the least motivation, try and make the best of it whether it’s accomplishing something that day, we all have days when our focus can go up and down. Reminding yourself that you have that drive to accomplish things will definitely help someone persevere to the career they want to pursue in life.
